Students Campaign Against Sanctions on Iran
In The Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Your Excellency, Mr. Ban Ki-moon,
Secretary-General of the United Nations,
With greetings and hope of the realization of global peace and security.
Your Excellency, as the Secretary-General of the United Nations, you are obliged to supervise and protect the fundamental principles of the charter of this organization; therefore, in cases of blatant violation of such principles, your immediate intervention is well expected.
Contrary to the consideration of the human rights and values in this charter, the government of the United States of America, through hegemonic and belligerent policies, is blatantly violating these rights. In this regard, the silence of organizations claiming the protection of human rights in the face of such crimes raises many questions for the global public opinion.
Was the end result of the military attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan, which were seemingly to fight terrorism and establish security in the region, anything but hundreds of thousands of civilian casualties, millions of homeless women and children[1] and the escalation of insecurity?
Is supporting the counterfeit Zionist regime, which is the outstanding example of state terrorism and infringement of the human rights, and forestalling the opposition of the international organizations with this regime[2] not against the human values? Can one not consider the US government as the accomplice of this racist regime’s atrocities in Gaza, Lebanon and the assassination of the Iranian nuclear scientists?
Is the US endorsement of the dictator and repressive states in Bahrain and Myanmar whose hands are stained with the blood of thousands of innocent people not against the international objectives of promoting democracy and civil liberties?
Is delisting the terrorist MKO group from the American Terror List and the financial and media support of this group not a case of supporting terrorism?
Your Excellency, Mr. Ban Ki-moon,
In spite of the fact that the international Non-proliferation Treaty officially recognizes the right of all countries to the peaceful use of nuclear energy, the US government, by appealing to absurd excuses, attempts to deprive the people of Iran from this right and in doing so is not committed to any regulation. In this regard, the US government has repeatedly violated the international laws by implementing unilateral and illogical sanctions against the people of Iran.
According to the Charter of Economic Rights and Duties of the United Nations, no state has the right to utilize—or encourage the use of—economic, political or any other restrictions to forcibly deny the right to sovereignty of another state[3]; while enforcing sanctions on the Central Bank of a state representing the most important governmental institution of monetary policies or boycotting the ministers and other state officials serve only to deny the right to sovereignty of that state.
Likewise, according to the laws of the United Nations, enforcing economic or political pressures against developing countries is prohibited[4]. This act unequivocally includes commercial, financial or any other economic restrictions and sanctions claiming them to be against the principles of the charter of the United Nations; since such restrictions work to the detriment of the economic, political and social performance of the developing countries taking their greatest toll, in the meantime, on the citizens.
According to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations, the ordinary citizens at all times, even during wartime, should be under protection[5]; whereas, the illegal and unilateral US sanctions severely violate the international laws and civil rights.
The Charter or the United Nations explicitly states that no member state has the right to appeal to violence, or threat to do so, in order to endanger the integrity or the sovereignty of another state[6]; nevertheless, the American statesmen are not only violating this principle with economic sanctions but are also impudently threatening Iran, through the language of the so-called “all options are on the table”, with a military attack.
Your Excellency Mr. Ban Ki-moon,
Contrary to the false claims of the American statesmen who assert that the sanctions are only to stop the Iranian nuclear program and call them intelligent sanctions, far from proving to be intelligent, the sanctions have brutally targeted the ordinary citizens.
The truth is that the Iranian nuclear program is completely peaceful and these sanctions have nothing to do with the nuclear program, yet it serves as a convenient excuse to disguise the real intention behind the sanctions. The real contention is that the US government can not tolerate the existence of any state out of its dominance and it has as its target all the independent nations among which Iran stands as the principal one.
The people of Iran—as they have demonstrated in previous years—are determined to defend their indisputable rights in various arenas and definitely such pressures will not hinder their progress; however, you should beware that the continuation of the current status will only result in the loss of the legitimacy of such organizations as the United Nations which claim to be the guardians of the human rights and values. Therefore, you, as the secretary general of the UN, are expected not to be indifferent to such outrageous violations of the human rights and by using the capacities under your administration to prevent the continuation of these offenses.

شورای آتلانتیک که یکی از اتاق فکرهای مهم آمریکاست به فاصله ۲ سال، دو ارزیابی ارائه کرده است. این شورا به تازگی در گزارشی اعلام کرد «ایران به صخره ای به مراتب بزرگتر از صخره مالی آمریکا تبدیل شده و معضل مالی دولت ایالات متحده با همه اهمیت به مراتب کوچکتر از صخره ایران است…
صخره با انفجار از جا کنده می شود. اما مثلث آمریکا و انگلیس و اسرائیل با وجود چند دهه آزمون و خطا، ماده منفجره ای را که تا عمق این صخره بزرگ کارگر شود و آن را از درون متلاشی کند پیدا نکرده اند. آنها انواع بمب های ضد بتون ساخته اند که می تواند تا ده ها متر در عمق زمین نفوذ کند اما نتوانسته اند مواد منفجره ای را که از عهده صخره ملت ایران برآید، طراحی کنند. چه باید بکنند؟
نخست باید جنس این صخره و علت استحکام آن را معلوم کنند. سپس باید نوعی از مواد منفجره و بمب های مرحله ای را فراهم کنند که تا عمق صخره را بشکافد و صلابت آن را درهم بشکند. این انفجار باید از چند زاویه انجام شود و به هم برسد. روش بی ثبات سازی و «انهدام و انحلال ترکیبی» آخرین گزینه می باشد که طی چند سال گذشته در دستور کار قرار گرفته است. به زعم آنها انبوهی از مواد انفجاری بدون چاشنی انفجار فعال نمی شوند.
این، آلیاژ صخره ایران و عمق استراتژیک آن در عرض و طول خاورمیانه است. محبت اهل بیت علیهم السلام است که یک ملت را روئین تن می کند و شرط این محبت، ایمان است. به فرموده رسول خدا دل های مومنان ظرف محبت همیشه فروزان امام حسین علیه السلام است. «انّ لقتل الحسین حراره فی قلوب المومنین لا تبرد ابدا».
و همین محبت بود که قیام الهی و جنبش مردمی نهم دی ۱۳۸۸ را آفرید تا استراتژیست های سازمان سیا، موساد و ام آی سیکس برای چندمین بار در پروژه جنگ و کودتا و انقلاب مخملین غافلگیر شوند و به همان جمع بندی سازمان سیا پس از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی برسند که دکتر مایکل برانت رئیس بخش شیعه شناسی سیا بعدها روایت کرد. «همراه مدیران سرویس جاسوسی انگلستان که سابقه حضور بیشتری نسبت به ما در خاورمیانه دارند، علت پیروزی ناگهانی انقلاب ایران را بررسی کردیم و به این نتیجه رسیدیم که خون حسین نواده پیامبر[ص] و رهبری و روحانیت و مرجعیت، نقش اصلی را در این اتفاق بزرگ داشته اند».
این اعتقاد به شعار « هیهات منّ الذّله » ملت شیعه است که اسباب روئین تنی ایران را فراهم کرده است.

لازم است از اقدامات زودبازده و موقتی دست برداریم و برای دور زدن تحریم ها از راهکارهای دائمی استفاده کنیم. در این صورت است که تحریم ها به فرصت تبدیل خواهد شد.)
